Administration building Evonik

The seven-storey administration and operations buildings of the Evonik concern on the industrial estate Wolfgang stretches over an effective area of 17,000 square metres. The building is divided into a lengthways and crossways block in the crosspoints of which lie a vertical service core. The interaction of floor plan design and facade distribution generates an overall architectural image that is distinct from the traditional office buildings and guarantees the desired flexibility. The new buildings fit into the existing constructions in the location through their corresponding style and choice of materials for the facade surface of rear-ventilated brick tiles. The building appears prestigious and functional at the same time. Large glass surfaces in the facade as well as dividing glass walls in the respective office units lend the building the desired transparency. The foyer suffused with light with the bright and cosy waiting areas stretch over 4 floors and captivate through paciousness. Along with a flexible use of office areas, the user can also combine two of the total of eight conference rooms by opening a mobile partition wall to make a 160 square metre conference room.
